Drilbu – a hand-bell, is held in the left hand and played with the damaru (hand-drum, see below) by the same player. Its pitch may be definite, but it is not functional as such.

Tibetan bell - dilbu , plays a very important role in religious ceremonies and rituals of most Buddhist cultures.
As such, it symbolizes the emptiness and the yin principle .
falls within the sound of the bell sound and spiritually stronger category.
You can play it simple bell, blow or friction on the edge of a wooden mallet.
then issuing high bells, singing tone with a number of aliquots.
can be used for energy cleansing and body spaces , whether physical or subtle.
It is also a powerful meditation tool, like Tibetan bowls can be used to support
the treatment of diseases.

sound of the bell is understood as a kind of sacrifice to Buddha.
