Renanthera monachica is a species of the genus Renanthera.

Plant blooms from late winter to spring with six to thirty 2.5 to 4 cm wide flowers.
Plants are found growing on trees on the island of Luzon at elevations up to 500 meters
Plants are best grown suspended in baskets or mounted, and require full sunlight and warm temperatures. If suspended, the roots must be watered frequently. Plants should be grown in a medium that is well drained such as tree fern fiber/ coconut fiber or coarse fir bark; some charcoal and sphagnum moss may be added. When potted, they must have excellent drainage.
